^Lot 360 Maynard Tape Premier Conversion of Flintlock Muske

U. S. issued, with lock marked Remington, Illion, New York, dated 1857 and U.S. marked. 69 cal smoothbore with graduated 4 position rear sight. Dated 1857 also on the tang and marked L/F 44. The front of trigger guard marked A BC. Witth U.S. on buttplate. Good condition with stained arsenal bright going to grayish patina. The stock is good with cartouches (2) outlined visible on left side behind sideplate and would have been very good except major loss of wood behind top edge at rear of lockplate. The markings are good and ramrod of proper style included.
